Marco is a young up-and-coming, but basically unsatisfied, disc jockey. Up until the day he walks into a betting shop and finds out that that’s the kind of thrill he had been seeking. His professional accomplishments go on, but his gambling losses always manage to outstrip his earnings. One day the lucky break: his own show at a big city radio station. This seems to break his gambling habit, but he loses his magic touch on the job. His first broadcasts fall flat. Scared and alone in the big city, he wanders into a betting shop. The magic returns. But so do his huge debts… Loosely based on Marco Baldini’s novel “The Gambler”.
